I’m a 36 year old filmmaker, videoblogger and web geek.
I started programming computers when I was 8 and making films when I was 15. I’ve spent 15 years making my living doing one or the other, and impatiently waiting for them to converge.
Since 2005, I’ve been working with online & mobile video and using smaller cameras and mobile phones to make short videos and share them online. I’ve become very involved with the amazing international videoblogging community.
My videos have been shown at web video festivals in Europe & North America – a number were chosen for the Pixelodeon festival at the American Film Institute in 2007. I won a Nokia Mobile Filmmaking Award in 2008. I was also shortlisted for the 2008 Ovi Pangea Day Mobile Filmmaking Award.
In 2008, I moved from London to Canada. In 2009, I moved back. I’m now producing and directing online and interactive videos for Chapterplay.tv

About videoblogging
There’s a lot more to online video than YouTube. Most of the videos I watch online are published by people on their own blogs. From personal journals to documentaries to video art.
The best thing about doing this is the direct connection with other filmmakers, video artists and videobloggers. There’s a really strong, supportive community online. Please don’t be shy about leaving comments – and if you also post videos online, tell me where they are.
If you want to know more about videoblogging, the Yahoo videoblogging group is a great place to start.

Subscribe to my feed
I post videos here with infuriating inconsistency and randomness. So instead of having to remember to check the site, please subscribe for free so that you get notified when the urge takes me to post another video. See the sidebar to the right.
